I like to view this song as if I were looking at myself in the mirror, reminding myself that I am never afraid to love. I've never done this, but perhaps I have in the form of music. Life has a way of trying to convince you it's not about love at all, but I hope this song reminds you that it is, and it's a real fight to live your life to love. But it's a winnable fight, so don't give up.

This song sprung out of an experiment with 5/4 time. I'd never heard a song besides the Mission Impossible Theme to employ the time signature and I wanted to see if I could get something a little more inspiring to come out of it. I feel I've succeeded...
